I read Five Chinese Brothers by Claire Huchet Bishop as a child (and it inspired in part a book I wrote years later). I love the books by Grace Lin. "Where the Mountain Meets the Moon" is my oldest daughter's first favorite novel. She asked for it for her eighth birthday.
